Social Media/Content Marketer
This is a new role within Singletrack and if you consider yourself an avid user of social media platforms from Facebook through to Twitter and you love mountain bikes then this could be the ideal job for you.
Social Media has become a vital part of publishing over the last few years and the rapid development of mobile technology has enshrined the role of social media platforms in the publishing portfolio of Singletrack and it’s sister title grit.cx.
As our resident social media expert you will be constantly looking at the latest developments in the field and helping to develop new and exciting ways to use them to get our content onto the screens of existing and new readers.
You will be technically competent with new technology and you will probably be an ‘early adopter’ of the latest tech and gear.
You will have an excellent grasp of the English language, be able to get creative with it and have a talent for marketing.
You will be expected to drive growth across all our social media channels through a mixture of creativity with the English language and your expert knowledge of trends and tools within each social media platform.
As a member of the closely knit Singletrack magazine family you will be expected to travel to events and press launches and be happy putting yourself front and centre in front of the camera when needed.
But as well as an outgoing personality you will be analytical and able to monitor and track your own performance using a number of data analysis tools.
This is an evolving role, driven by technology and trends but with a whole host of rewards and opportunities for the right candidate.
