I dont know about 'wind up merchant', but my top line up would be as follows:
For trolling above and beyond the call of duty, ton.
For a sometimes baffling yet well informed political ruck, ernie lynch.

I don't always aim to be a wind up but I do enjoy a debate. I very rarely make posts just to get a reaction but when I have a view that conflicts with the majority view it is quite fun to state that view.

I do try to be positive. What I really dislike is the people who make negative postings attacking people constantly – that is irritating to me. I very rarely make personal attacks ( except SFB who really gets my goat sometimes – sorry SFB)

There's a difference between a good-wind up merchant (ton, binners, scruff, etc.) who light the fire and occasionally fan the flames and the political correspondants (CFH, TJ, Ernie and Deadly) who seem to enjoy genuine debate. Then there's sfb who begs the question "Why?"

Looking back through some old threads it seems that many of these top wind up merchants seem to get a little wound up themselves?

Hora's not a wind up merchant, he's just a mentalist….. In the best possible way, of course. 😉
