More importantly. Anyone here had regular detention at school and/or received the cane? I was one of the last apparently to enjoy the cane for setting off fire extinguishes onto some mates. I would have gotten away with it but some bloody girls grassed us up!

I used to get detention all the time. To young to get the cane (at school in a bad way).
Mostly it was for "childish pranks". Occasionally for "dangerous pranks".

Yes! I punched through a internal window once along with climbing on the roof! I'd also (10yrs old) let off a fire alarm as it said 'smash glass to activate'. So out of curiosity I pushed against the perspex and it stayed intact and simply slid back into the button. Oops.

I had detention quite a few times, the worst for jumping out a groundfloor window during a lesson geting naked and running round the school field. Would have got away with that one if some tosser hadn't grabbed my clothes and shut the window.
Not much of a defense when you have to walk round then knock on the class door cupping ya nads

i had the cane - or belt as it was in Scotland -0 in school.

Junkyard. He isnt? Even though they found evidence of explicit nature on his personal pc? I know he said he was using the images for 'research purposes for a book' and he too was effected as a child. Im sure they all say that. Nice.

I once had a detention for repeatdly laughing in sex education/Biology class. I remember the teacher asking me to 'grow up'. I was about 12 FFS. Bloody lefty idiot.

Banned once for 24 hrs, for posting a link to a video, every swear word from the Sopranos compiled into a 20 minute swearathon despite the fact I'd labelled the link NSFW, still rankles a bit, someone complained apparently ;shrugs;

I have glided through my posting career totally untouched, despite routine swearing. There was one post which I expected to get kicked out for but I got away with it.
Got cained, slippered and paddled at school. As well as a slap across the face from a couple of teachers. No probs as it was all deserved.
