I'm hoping for snow down south............tomorrow we might get 10 mm.....ha ha ha
Time for n+1 then OP. 😉
Sod all snow down here - although give it 48hrs and I'll be seeing way more snow than anyone else in here 😛
We had a frost and a Met Office warning of 1 cm of snow. I shall be out show boating tomorrow.
Suitably epic photos will be posted later. I'll ask an old dear in her mobility scooter if she will take my picture.
It's not worth it unless it's over 2" deep
There's always at least 1 at Swinley
Always.
33mm tyres were fine this afternoon 🙂

There was indeed. Looked like he was having fun on it.
Si
Well I'm out tomorrow on mine 10mm snow or no snow....the roads will be too frosty for road bikes
Always take my fatty to Swinley in the hope of some snow..... 🙁
My 2.25 29 worked well until snow was 2feet then i was carrying 🙂
130 cm fresh snow is a bit much for bikes...
There will be at least 2 fatbikes at Swinley in the morning, happy days!
Just this second been out on mine for a couple of hours, it coped great with the 2mm of fresh snow 🙂
Matt, we only do pics of overweight balding gits if you don't mind.
Not really a fat bike but it does have 3" tyres, so it's a skinny fat, had it 3 days so far and to paraphrase a macdonalds ad campaign I'm loving it 😀
Went out in the snow for a wee run at 2pm this afternoon, over 5 hours later and a fair amount of the galloway hills conquered i finally decided to head for home as i was frozen but i knew i had a naga curry waiting for me to warm me up.
Mixture of electric modes used, Tour, Sport and Turbo for the deepest snow gullys - only had to get off and push once (and i found out it has a walk button on the speed controller that engages the motor at a very slow walking pace so that you can push it easily up climbs or through deep-deep snow. Still has 2/5 battery power left so i guess it would have been good for 80+miles if i was careful.
Sooooo happy with it, 😀
Mine was up Glentress, going where others fear to put treads...

There was a bloke at cannock yestwrday with three on one fatties. One for him and two for his little kids. Spoilt brats 😆
Had a sprinkling of snow on the edge of the Chiltern Hills this morning, but I had to come to work, so no snow fat biking for me today :(!
It's snowed down here in hemel...I've got to entertain my little boy as its the first proper snow (3 inches)in his 4 years..
Hopefully get my bike out after..before its all melted!
Jam Bo : If you're ever up in the D+G area riding the 7stanes and you want to try it out then give me a shout on here - you'll want one though so be prepared 😀 , It's gonna take me a while to leave the house on it t'day as my homemade Naga curry was rather more powerful than i initially bargained for…….
my homemade Naga curry was rather more powerful than i initially bargained for
Was it Naga-saki curry then? Sounds like it would melt any snow within a mile or two of the 'fallout'!
I imagine the IAEA will be contacting me shortly to imply sanctions, There's certainly one part of my anatomy that will not feel the cold t'day.
still shaking my flu of and opted for an extended walk yesterday rather than on the bike.
only saw two people in the first 3 hours. one fatty + one cx.
i was in gore glen up near temple, midlothian.

Maybe it was the 'look at me, I'm mad I am' sign stuck to your face 😉
Thats a cracking beanie!!!
Mine was racing at Brass Monkey round three, didn't cover myself in glory but had fun.
Cthulhu rides a fat bike.
We've still got plenty of snow in Galloway, out for 4 hours t'day and my body is feeling it but nothing a warm fire n' whisky cannot fix
Climbed this no bother but i did have a fit of the giggles at the absurdity of motoring up the hill
Apologies for photobombing the thread, I'm sure the novelty will eventually wear off 😉
How does the battery cope with the cold weather?
what that e-bike needs is a more lairy paintjob Kenny 🙂
