Been experiencing a bit of hand a wrist pain in recent weeks. I have not made any changes to the set of my bike to warrant this so just thinking old age.

I am going get some higher riser bars to hopefull take a bit of pressure off, at the same time a tweak to the saddle position. As i am getting some new bars It turned my thoughts to grips. So any good grips out there for the gent with hands like shovels?

I use ODI Rogues. JE James seem to be cheapest at the moment, I got some off them last week

I have shovels for hands and i have found 2 grips to be the largest:-

    1. As above, the Sunline Logo Thick Version
    2. Lizard Skin Northshore Lockons

Both roughly the same price and both worth a punt.

Rogues are OK but i prefer the feel of the 2 above and they are both thick and comfy.

    +1 for Oury

Don't use lock-on's if you want some cushioning!

Rouges are the best I've found as they don't have any damn fool flanges on 'em and are the same diameter over the lockrings as the grip. They could be a bit wider but at least there's about enough space for the whole of your hand without ending up resting one side or the other on a lumpen bit.
