What front mech for a Titus FTM carbon?

Just been trying to fit a front mech to my FTM. Tried a SRAM X9 off my old Trek Fuel carbon, and also an SLX. Both are top pull, high mount, 34.9 (I think).

Neither seems to sit just right, the seat tube either isn't perfectly circular or should I be using a different mech? The SRAM fits slightly better.

Didn't think they did any bigger band size than 34.9?

What are other people using?

I fitted a Shimano SLX M661 9 Speed Conventional (high mount) to mine. worked a treat, popped out the band reducers...set up was 5 mins, hasn't missed a beat since..

I think thats the same as what I have. I'll have another look at bolting it up - I just loosely put it round the seat tube to check what size it is and I needed to order one specially.

Hi,

X9 fits fine. If you do go with shimano the rear mech needs to be a Shadow
