Contemplating a cheap bike to tat about town on, popping to the shops, taking my kids (3 & 6) out on (not offroad) and that.
Years ago I used to muck about with a bit of trials so would be wanting to head off to the local industrial estates to ride the platforms and a few pallets and whatnot, maybe the local skateramp (early in the morning before the yoof turn up) and so on.
Looked at a stock trials bike but the lack of seat would make the riding with the kids bit a pain, also a small framed XC bike or a DJ hardtail.
Something like a Commencal Max Max seems to be an option as a cheap off the shelf option but I've never ridden a DJ bike to know if this will do what I want it to do.
Any ideas?
