Has anyone on here done this route? Just wondering if it's worth doing?

Cheers for any info.

I enjoyed it.

Choose a reasonably dry period

The cafe at wanlockhead is fine

Turn left up the hill not down it and hit the river trail off the hill although leaves a nasty road section back to riks

Great ride, done it a couple of times. Start and finish at Drumlanrig, be warned though, the cafe is shut down there, but head into Thornhill to Thomas tosh, which was always better anyway. 50k ride, but doesn't feel that long.

Good stuff! I'll be doing it tomorrow! ๐Ÿ™‚

[s]That must be Glendyne Burn is it? It's mentioned in the book where I saw the route, but just says it's hard to find and doesn't elaborate.[/s] Sorry, I realise you're meaning close to the end.

Really enjoyed the route a month or so ago. Enterkin pass is great, more a test of nerve than skill.

Cheers for the extra info. I went to Kirroughtree instead, although plan to do it next week if the weather's good.
