I've had a similar experiance coing down Skiddaw (the boring legal way). The only people to object were the ones who steped one way, the the other, then two steps back again eventualy forceing me to skid to a stop*. "you could have killed us, you're an inconsidderate nuisance nand should be banned", yes dear, but the important point is I didn't kill you did I?
*Then again I might have been airborne and going far too fast when I came into view having spectaculalry miss juged the speed to hit the water bar just as you re-enter the woods below the car park!
