He's taking a while to reply as he can't type with his floppy left hand.

At school you'd get a paracetamol and you'd have to carry on with PE. Now, get back in goal you wuss. ๐Ÿ˜€

Could be a warranty issue I'd speak to the manufacturers.

Cutlery and some carbon fibre will see you right.

Is that after plating or another bit of damage. Get better soon.

scar is from 2 previous brakes.

1st missjudged a jump and snapped it mid shaft, plated.

2nd, sliped on some gravel on the xc bike and the bone snaped round the end of the plate, plated again.

3rd, near stationary, hit a patch of diesel at a give way line! There's a pattern, the accidents are getting more inoquious! Its been 4 months but obviously not enough as it broke in the same place and bent the plate!

Can't they just fit a zip this time?
Good to see someone maxing out their investment in the NHS ! ๐Ÿ˜€

Ouch.

Maybe a bone density scan would be in order - you do seem overly prone to snapping.

Thats always been my concern with my ankles- both pinned and plated a few years ago.
Those do sound innocuous though right enough! Perhaps a zip would be a good idea.

That needs a [s]fancy titanium upgrade[/s] sorting in a dockyard where they use proper gauge metal plates and rivets.

...shaking hands with Yuri Geller...

Is that a euphemism? If so, he might have to lay off that for a while.

Anyway. Turn that frown upside down, OP. It could be worse...

That'll look great with a pair of Jones bars.

Get the other one done as well, nothing worse than mismatched parts.

Viewing this thread on my phone - pics slow to load - quite relieved it was a picture of you're arm you'd posted after I read that.

At 4 months from previous injury it's still healing, the metal work is not as strong as bone so it will bend. Just bad luck chief.

Try and avoid falling on it for a while and it'll be fine..... All that stainless ain't cheap!

Right. It was a tough surgery, but I think we did the best job we could, with the raw materials we had. To be honest, we can hardly tell the difference.

[img] [/img]

...we'll even throw in a suitable jumper to go with it:

I think you should make the other one look the same really. For balance, like.
