Chevin Cycles in Otley do a monthly MTB ride called Trails and Ales. We went out with them first time last month and it was a good ride, gentle social pace, nice people. And yes, they really do bring sandwiches. So if anyone is looking for someone to ride with this weekend:

The next Trails and Ales ride will be held on Sunday 12 July 2009 and will start from Pateley Bridge at 10:00 a.m. We will ride up to Scar House reservoir and back again to Pateley Bridge. It is a more challenging ride so expect to be out for about 5 hours and bring some sandwiches and plenty of water / drinks.

Meet at the Car Park in Pateley Bridge which is on the B6265 just over the river from the centre of Pateley Bridge.

i missed the last trails and Ales ride due to a leaky front sock. All is fixed now so will be there for this ride. i hope we keep up the Ale side of the bargain too like we did on the Garforth ride.
