Highest bidder 😉

I don't even mind it's in London.

I shouldn't have looked.

It's just depressing to think that someone is so ignorant that they would try to foist such a thing on other people.

Part of me wants to laugh... in a cringey sort of way; the other part of me just feels angry.

To be fair, I think that's how planet-x knock them out, apart from the seatpost, that's probably aftermarket to make it fit.

Nah it's a Manitou I think - they put the arch thing on the back - owner has spun them around thinking it should be on the front - they might have a point, but in this case they're backwards.

(I hope that's what's happened).

Now I look again, top cup of the headset doesn't appear to be, erm well - fitted.

The downtube decal says it all really.

Yup, forks are on backwards. And on the wrong bike.

That is tragic. I'm going to go home and hug my Uncle John (not a euphemism).

Somebody needs to set up a sanctuary for abused bikes like they do for donkeys and manky owls.

isn't just a collection of stolen parts put together to look like a bike?

do you think it's just a project gone wrong?
or a collection of robbed parts thrown together?

Must be a project, otherwise why would there be 2 identical bikes?

willyboy - theres a couple of folk in my town (Kirkcudbright) who use those cheap electric bikes to get to the pub (needless to say they're banned from driving), you see them outside the pub from lunchtime to after 8 pm every day of the week and they like to tell everyone the bikes cost £1000's

I reckon that might be a canny buy for someone who is prepared to split it and sell as parts, (at a reasonable auction price obviously, not the £499 buy it now)

I always thought I should have got a set of Fox 40's instead of 36's for mine

Headtube snapping aside, it handled well enough with 7" forks that dual crowns (which are usually lower anyway) wouldn't be the worst addition to it for pedally DH tracks.

Alloy frame with a track rear hub? Not with a bargepole!
