I'm utterly bored of revision and shaving legs seems to get a big response on stw so thought I'd put something up. I dabbled with shaving last year after spending a fair amount of time on the road bike and deciding that whilst in lycra all the time that skinny, casper white legs looked marginally better without fur. However, injury meant it was winter before got back on the bike and it's only now that I've started thinking about doing it again. No races lined up and waiting for an MRI to assess current injury so prob be entirely recreational riding but how many of you have a cheeky trim now we're staggering towards slightly better weather? Don't be shy...

Epilate every couple of weeks all year round.

Started a couple of years ago just in the summer but went through last winter shaved as I prefer the feel of it.

Well I was going to when I thought spring was on its way a couple of weeks ago when we had that warm spell. Glad I didn't cause I've been back into tights and full winter gear since then. Probably wait now until my first sportive of the year at the start of May

Shave your balls whilst your at it. I've got a pair of American Tan tights you can try on if you like.

And where to stop? Hairy short shorts or do you go the full monty, sack, crack and all?

It's hairy shorts for me.

Just shave down from the top of the thighs to the knees, then up from the feet to the knees, and leave a wee patch on each inner thigh to provide a bit of scrotal protection.

Ain't no big deal.

do you all have daily leg massages? or weekly 100+mile rides? or crash a lot?
just out of interest, don't see the benefit otherwise!
I have toyed with it myself but unless there is an amazing benefit, seems like too much effort, i rarely shave my face.
Don't your good ladies freak out?

I've used Veet in the past, but recently have thought about going further north. Any problems getting towards the knacker area?

just thought I'd add a negative post do redress the balance before you all realise your menstrual cycles have aligned.

I imagine I'll have to be extra careful with the piercing too.

just thought I'd add a negative post do redress the balance before you all realise your menstrual cycles have aligned.

Not a problem, you clearly are not comfortable with who you are so the negativity is totally understandable.

Real men use an epilady. Waxing is next most painful.

Hair shorts are endorsed by George Hincapie. See the Mark Cavendish documentary.

And before you get all het up, I'm just the same. It's just that the fashion I'm a victim of has different norms.
