POSTED 35 MINUTES AGO #

Had a lift home from Brechfa at the weekend in my mates 'standard' C63 estate - 450ish bhp is more than enough!

Personally, because I don't have a seat on the board of OPEC I'm after an A4 3.0 tdi black edition. 50mpg, 155mph (not at the same time) and a boot certainly big enough for my riding kit whilst the bike gets mounted to the roof 😉

holy crap. I like that. 800 acres for my sheep.

Wonder what the total rental income is from that lot.

Taking everything into consideration and finding an average line to measure against , then the winner is an Alfa 159sw 2.4 JTDM.

🙂

Has Guy Martin tested it yet? I am not buying one unless I can do 180mph through a 40 with the dog in the back.

That Aston is gopping - the back end looks like an Alfa designer took some acid and defected.

You want a V10, 500bhp+, almost understated, practical beast - for well under £20k

None of them look very ultimate, if I can't fill the back with hardcore and wheelbarrows then park it in a ditch it's useless.

It's difficult to design a rear end for an estate that looks nice and that Aston is an abortion; it loks like one of those awful Crossfires.

When I first saw this my jaw dropped.

I shall in future be calling my C5 estate la break de chasse.

There are some more here http://rmc-cars.over-blog.com/2013/11/des-breaks-de-chasse-surprenants.html
