Looking out of the window at the constant pissing rain 😥
Was there 2 weeks ago for the first time and thought it was ace. Pretty physical trails, love the red stuff which I thought was tougher than the black route. Didn't get out today, best laid plans and all. Will be planning on something over the weekend though.
Just back from a couple of days on the Bluestone Preselis(born there on the hills, and ride or walk a few times a year) getting hammered by big winds. Beautiful and empty.

4 hours of pure headwinds today going point to point. Great training but not a lot of fun solo. Averaged a lowly 27kph. Hope the wind holds for the ride back on Monday.

Upper Swaledale. The climb from Muker up onto Kisdon is a biyatch of the highest order! Goes from steep hardpacked track to even steeper wet grass.
