That is bloody lovely.
Brooks Professional saddle - klasse!!
Here's my commuter / CTC iron / newspaper round bike:-

Now has full-length mudguards.
Like. Lots. Classy looking thing!
I rather like this

concept only so far...
How can you build a bike like that, then disfigure it with mudguards.
It should be an arrestable offense
Nice one Old Git Surrey (you won't see my commuter till I've stuck my guards on-great parts from scrap bin but hideous Frankenstein job!)
If Binners could see my winter trainer or hack/commuter he'd arrest me for abusive of bike building!
Mudguards stop you having a mucky rear end when you get to work etc!
You should see the Tortec with reflective go faster stripes!
Binners, riding in the rain = Mudguards are good! They're great, in fact.
That Cannondale Duchess is a work of art.
Commuter bikes without mudguards are pointless. Borrowed one of these in Copenhagen and it, well, rocked.
shit thats nice, id never commute on it. summer days, country roads...
Mine is nicer than that
at the Dura Ace triple, Shimano/Campagnolo mix, meerkat stem spacers and discs on a road bike. All wrong.
Nicest commuter I've ever seen?
she ought to be careful, locking her arms out like that....
Bet she has a suspension seatpost, with no saddle attached to it.
Apparently the bike (Velorbis Dannebrog, or something) is overpriced sh1te!
Hope she's not the same.
Is it me or does the frame in the OP have a really weird interface between top tube and head tube?
I'm not that keen on it really... sorry
got my eye on a cross check as my next commuter. think they look ace in a weird sort of way.
very expensive gate
tall people shouldn't be allowed to ride bikes, not in daylight anyway
OP,
If you have a Cyclelife, (Raleigh) store nearby, their full length mudguards are made by SKS, look exactly the same quality and manufacure but are about 1/2 the price. As modeled here. (thought a poor view of them I'll grant you, sorry if you've seen this before)
The Cannondale Dutchess is lush.
Thanks tthew, just found one in Bristol
(bit hidden away and lousy service last time I used them but under new management now so will take a look!)
Argh old git surrey!
argh! backwards elbows!
just been sick on my keyboard.
mine's clearly the nicest*

*may be subjective.
Sorry but the bike in the OP just looks terrible. Extended headtube AND pointy-uppy stem? I don't think so. Dura-ace triple, straight forks and discs? Could not be further from nice if it tried.
djglover's is more like it, whereas flatboy's is closer to the reality of commuting (at least my reality)!
My SS commuter. Withut mudguards, obviously

functional!
I like that one Sam's linked a very lot.
Nice bikes posted up!
Nicest commuter...?

...Sorry, had to be done
OH MY GOD SHE HASNT GOT A HELMET!!!!

@flatboy
