Arrived for my Sunday ride at Epping, and found I had left the QR out of my rear wheel after having it repaired at my LBS. Rather than driving all the way home, the nearest place to get a new one was the local Halfords in Loughton who are open on Sundays.

After not seeing any QRs on their shelves I asked their mechanic if they had any. He said they didn’t have any in stock as they are only a very small “Metro” branch, but he kindly let me have one from his toolbox. I offered to pay but he declined saying they were happy to help. Good on them!
