No shibby, noddy as in not particularly complex or artistic.

Glad to see this topic didn't end in tattoo flaming...

I dont see myself getting one done as I don't know exactly what I want and don't want to get one just for the sake of it.

I seriously fancy one like this, and doubt many folk would get it.

I have that design except it's a scar, not a tatt.

I am so frickin nails I punch myself in the face to start fights.

It's just a joke to me TSY, I don't really care what folk think, tho it's fun to make them try.

Marginally more acceptable if it's blood rather than just oil

A faster rider than njee (probably):

Yep, that's ok, I don't feel the need to judge him even if he is quicker (who is it?).

There's just no need to have such little spatial awareness as to do it with an oily chain. Still, it's nice people identify themselves as special, saves me doing it ๐Ÿ™‚

Al fair play to you if you'd actually do that. Why not just get an oily mark on your leg and don't wash it off, tell everyone it's a tattoo. Or, why not tattoo 'loser' on your forehead, for a joke.

Probably a similar number that would 'get' the chainring mark!

glad I revisited this thread. Yunkis pic is my new favourite tattoo fail ๐Ÿ˜†

@njee20 - it's Matt Hart. note chainring damage is on the wrong leg so probably came from someone else's bike.

Never had a tattoo in the end. They aren't that expensive but didn't know what to go for. Sat down in the shop for a bit but didn't like anything as such

Ironically most of the time I've done it is when running with the bike - when you can get it on the left leg. Riding's safer! And I'm quicker than Matt ๐Ÿ˜‰

Correct me if I'm wrong - but haven't we seen a tattoo on the ar5e of a recent poster, quite a long time ago.

Nice it was as well

I used to have a chainring tattoo* on my calf to show I fall off my bike - however after 15 or so years that has faded, and now I have this pedal tattoo* on my shin instead to show I fall off my unicycle.

[IMG] [/IMG]

* well it involved a similar process, a similar amount of pain and a similar result.

Scars are awesome actually. You earn those babies. And obviously you can build a huge story up around them.

"I was totally nailing it down this sheer cliff and while I was freefalling, Angeline jumped into my lap and started going it big time on my man veg. I did a 360 night ark shilly booth and landed right on my six, but then Angelina was so awestruck with my tackle, she bit off my shoulder and that's why I have a 2 mm scar there now."

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Taste is individual

Got it years ago... and still like it. ๐Ÿ˜›
