Yes serial lurker here.
95% of the posts are not worth responding to, the other 5% someone would of made a valid contribution to.
So not worth responding .................

Regular lurker and the most heinous of stw pariahs, a lurker that buys and sells in the classifieds.

I read about 40 threads a day. I do about 1-2 new threads a week. I reply to about 5 threads a day.
I often repeat already expressed remarks - it adds weight, aligns the hive mind. Dunt matter if you say the odd daft thing - it's hobby forum

I lurk on many threads where I just read because I am interested but have nothing to say /contribute or just dont know anything about what thet are atalking about - that may come as surprise to some!!
I am not a lurker but I rarely start threads.

Losers?

I lurked for a fair old time before dipping a toe in. Don't start many threads, but chip in if i've got something helpful, amusing or stupid to say.

I maybe post on 1/2 threads a day at peak times, but then might not post anything for a couple of months, been a forum member since 2003
I often write a response, review it and then not bother posting it after realising I'm just bored and writing for the sake of it

Is this a self help meeting for Lurkers?!
I mostly lurk... and chip in if I think I've got anything interesting to add (that's rarely, so I guess I'm not that interesting!!)

Very lurky indeed. I have trouble enough just keeping up with the number of posts, let alone coming up with anything useful to say...
I also search the forum to see whether the latest shiney thing I'm considering buying is universally disliked/ loved too. That probably makes me the worst kind of lurker?

Just coincidence that Lurker rhymes with burqa ?

Long time lurker here

Used to post loads(mind, most of it was BS),but more of an occasional lurker these days......
Posted 2 years ago # -
if you post on this thread do you lose lurker status?
Posted 2 years ago # -
Yes, you then become what's known in the trade as a skulker.

Only been lurking for a few weeks (since I got a subscription for crimbo). Most of the time I probably would have some thing to say but 200 people have already said it by the time I check. I was surprised how active the forum is compared to my more 'local' one and mtbr.

I like Lurpack

Unless I have anything to add don't bother. Its usually been said, far more articulately then what I could say, by the time I get there.
And I'm worried about my spelling and prose with all the **** pedants;-)

I like to post if I have an opinion.
