@ Catflees - it heavy duty water colour paper/ hot press paper - not the best choice for pencil really - cold press it better!

Butterfly, I think your paper is too toothy, try Bristol board to bring out the subtle tones 🙂

catflees- the Black Stork is pencil. Not the best photo to show the drawing but they can be a pain to photo. The other picture is pen and watercolour.
