Bought a Purgatory and a Butcher in grid flavour for £50 instead of £70.
Websters Cycles in Leicester booked them from Spesh for me and did a deal.
Paid £3.99 for delivery from shop.
Worth sharing – ask for Ash.

Those are controls, not grids, hence cheaper.

    Sorry – 650b 2.3.
£50 the pair obviously – not much of a bargain otherwise 😉
As Sir HC says, the controls are cheaper than the grids.

is the grid the same tread pattern just harder wearing?

AFAIK the grid has stronger sidewalls and weighs more – more durable.

Grid is sometimes stickier rubber too- butcher is 42a (supertacky) on a hard base instead of something like 50/60 dual compound for the control frinstance
