just been reading an article on workshop stoves and have found a couple of product links that are new to me which may be of interest to others in here.

    These seem excellent VFM

Annoying website, but 4kW stoves from £160.

these ones I dont like so much, and they’re a bit pricer, but they do burn shavings properly:

And finally, it may be of interest to anyone looking at a new domestic boilerany time soon, that the Domestic RHI policy has finally been published: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/212089/Domestic_RHI_policy_statement.pdf

The temperatures for Worcester for the next 12 days go from 14-19°C Max, surely you don’t need to light up yet. Currently 14°C and raining outside, 23°C inside here with no heating.

Oh, Im not doing any burning. Just that with autumn the forum naturally turns to talk of all things burney/smokey.

Ive only had to fire the pellets for an hour recently, the solar collectors are just about keeping up with hot water demand still. Wont need to think of any heating for a while yet and even then, will be using the stove rather than the underfloor heating/radiators until it’s much colder.
