Its a sausage roll. There are no rules, other than it should be followed by another one.

If theres any of this around, even better….

Hot so long as they’re fresh from the oven. #If they’ve been within three feet of a microwave or a warming cabinet then they need to be disposed of – probably by throwing in the binners.

Hot – there is no other option!
Pastry’s crispy and fresh that way.
    NEVER cold!

Nah. Cold and with a moistness of 1.25 RC.

RC being the SI unit of moistness with 1 RC being equivalent to 1 Ritz Cracker.

High street or artisan variety – it makes all the difference….

I always the SI unit for moistness was something else entirely

Anyone attaching the word Artisan to a product other than furniture should be fired into the sun.

hilldodger – have a word with yourself.

The word ‘Artisan’ has no place in this conversation. Or any conversation involving food or beer, come to that

Sausage rolls are hot because they are cooked in an oven.
The question you are really asking is fresh or stale?

    Harry_the_Spider

    …or moist.

But this is the home of the 15 quid burger – anything less than organic wild boar & truffel sausage in a rye and quinoa pastry with a goose egg glaze just isn’t trying…..

There’s plenty of room for everyone in the ship that will be fired into the sun.

Hot, freshly made pork pies are awesome the red-hot semi-liquid gelatine adds a frisson of danger to the experience.

With Ketchup on the roll, salad cream and/or English mustard with the pie. Job done

Lad that used to work for me swore by dunking in tomato soup. They still haven’t found his body.

There are two ways, both are as correct as each other-

    1. As a quick and dirty snack- cold, straight out of the packet with a squidge of tommy K, furtively scranned in the kitchen.

    2. For tea- warmed up (not hot), with processed peas and some brown sauce, with a cuppa. There may be the possibility of a chip or two as well + slice of thick white (buttered, ta).

I will happily demolish a five pack of Lidl sausage rolls using method 1 😳 😆

    Hot with tomato ketchup.

Will tolerate cold as part of a picnic.
