    Hi all,

The back end of my 2004 Heckler has developed a fair amount of play and I think I need to replace the bearings and bushings. Northwest MTB quoted me about £70 to fix it, which is more than I can afford at the moment.
Has anyone fixed this themselves? If so, where did you buy your replacement bits from and was it a simple job to do?

    Thanks

Jungle sell the bits, BETD & ebay also, it's a POP IYAM, bearings alone are often all you need, if you take it apart you should be able to tell.

Don't overtighten the pinch bolts as you may crack the "C"-parts.

IIRC there's a guide on the SC website.

it's simple. bash the old ones out – push the new ones in. If they've never been touched since 2004 it may be a bit hard…

be careful not to just bash out the inner part of the bearing though!

Jungle will sell the bearings. as will any bearing place if you give em the right numbers..

Not so, they're imperial and not normally stocked.
