Tragic news. Segway accident, apparently.

Another one! 2017 is heading the way of 2016. 🙁

Glad they made that last Thotch album before the accident.

While I’m sure the cause of death is a cheeky nod and a wink to Spinal Tap’s many drummers and their “freak gardening accidents” I really hope the “Segway mistake” doesn’t take the opportunity to cause unnecessary upset to the family of Jimi Heselden (who died after what could best be described as a “Segway mistake” when he plunged into the River Wharfe on one).

Hope I’m being premature.

I’m guessing they’ll get some proper stars for the tribute – I’m hoping for Joe Cocker, haven’t seen him on the telly for way too long..

And Peter Skellern on the same day. It goes from bad to worse…

As some wag on Twitter said, where was Peter Gabriel at the time?
