    Go 2nd hand. Much more bang for your buck. Generally speaking a new road bike for £300 will be pants.

    Bike radar is good for 2nd hand road bikes.

    My brother’s just bought one of these as a first step into roadie-ism, he loves it! Just a shame he’s becoming a roadie 😉

    In budget and carbon forked (if that’s your thing….).
