    Racism was called something else when Love Thy Neighbour came out, colour prejudice m’thinks. Were we really ready for that level of parody in 197? I doubt it.
    Edit: Actually maybe we were. It’s got to be 40-plus years since it was on, but didn’t Rudolph Walker always get the upper hand, whilst Jack Smethurst looked like an ignoramus?
