Anyone have any routes near Stokesley, was thinking of the area to the east where there looks to be some great hills and woodland
Lots of riding ENE of Stokesley at Guisborough forest and on the moors next to it. Trails all over the place. Check out the strava global heat map.
thank you
found all kinds of routes
What kind of riding are you after ?
Don't bother, it's crap round here.
Honestly, no vast expanse of moorland, no singletrack, no big forest to play in and absolutley no quiet back roads to satisfy us road riders.
Oh,and there isn't a lovely long flat disused railway line to a pub in the middle of nowhere if the mood suits.

Guisborough Woods.
Not for the faint hearted in many places, it's all cheeky and totally non heath and safety but awesome. Join Guisborough MTB.
Plenty more stuff in the area, but that's the standout woodland singletrack.
Guisborough woods cheeky trails.
Nuff said. ๐

A short road ride to Ingleby Greenhow and some basic map reading will get you to Ingleby incline, which is the start of the disused railway line, follow this up making sure you take the right track at Bloworth crossing
