    Nice.

Didn’t a couple of his main guys end up at Indy Fab?

It will be interesting which way he goes.

1> Handmade/small numbers, top end – the customised approach
2> New designs truly getting back into innovation – the ibis approach
3> The build it up slowly approach and see where it goes – the Daryl Funk approach

Brilliant, hopefully Fat 2.0 can have a point of difference is such a crowded market. Be sad if they become just another bland brand.

I really can’t wait to see what happens,I never thought I’d see the day he came back to bikes. He’s been to NAHBS a couple of times but never picked up what he thought of the stuff out now. I’d hope it was number two but still working with steel. Already started my kitty 🙂

    What about
    4. Off the shelf, Taiwan made, 29er Breezer approach?

I’m hoping not and also thinking Ti might be involved somewhere.

I hope not too! Ti might be on the cards, I’m sure some of the ex FCC welders are working with Ti just now, I wonder if they will be contracted for some of the work? IIRC there is a very good family tree of where the ex FAT guys have went. I’ll try to find it.

    Video of Chris here:

Got an email today with a poll about what bike they should make.
The first 2 questions were easy, but the wheel size one threw me.

Spookily, the first time I heard someone say that mtbs should have 650B wheels was one of his frame builders at the bike show way back in the early nineties. Perhaps that’s the root of his resurrection. 🙂
