I have a bad feeling that a last minute burst of nationalism will tip it to a YES, 57 - 43.
No 54 - Yes 44 (yes to try and claim it on away goals)
No 53
Yes 47
No 53 edit- beaten to it. 52.5 then
Is the ballot like this
Please tick one..
No we dont want to be in the UK
Yes we want to be independent
Yes: 54
I predict that the there will be blanket coverage of it until the end of bloody time.
NO to win by a whisker. Salmond to be fired into space.
The question is:
Should Scotland be an independent country?
It will be fixed to get the result the gov/scot parliament want!
Yes: 47.5
No- 52.5
Turnout: 86.5%
Spoilt papers - 0.25%
No 60%
Salmond to be fired into space.
The cannon was driving through Edinburgh yesterday actually, following some kind of truck thing with loudhalers etc

Be interesting to see how close the real result is to this!
Depends who's counting, sadly.
No - 64%
Yes - 36%
I don't think it's going to be as close as predicted.......

Your trying to tell me 99.75% of sweaties can write??? 😉
I predict a lot of very unhappy people.
No - 70
Yes - 30
Just my gut instinct; number's a guess obviously!
@flatfish - My likely option is a spoilt paper as I'm not certain of either option, however I'm determined to vote. So my only honest answer is "I don't know". Which would - rightly - be a spoilt paper..

if my facebook is anything to go by, or my colleagues with Scottish accents (most of whom don't get a vote), 88%+ Yes.
No 61. Yes 39.
Arlarses out in droves. 16 yo's forget to vote because Oh look shiny!
I expect a swing towards No is more likely than Yes as people are inherent more inclined to stick with what they know.
BUT all it'll take is a stupid comment from someone on the No campaign and that could all be irrelevant.
I really hope it's No though. I'd be very sad if it was Yes.
oh, 52Y/48N. Fingers crossed.
No 68%
54% No, because when has Scotland been good at winning.
I predict Mel Gibson will be double crossed again. 😉

Or will this be like the Irish vote to leave the EU - vote against what the government want so hold it again and change the question.. 🙂
You're expecting the issue to be decided by Friday?
I predict recounts, legal challenges, and an Holyrood UDI within five years.
Not to mention a lot of aggro.
No 67%.
Maybe this was the intention all along - spread discord amongst the populace... Just didn't expect it to end up running this close.
I predict a massive sigh of relief from the majority of the population who are sick of having to listen to (mostly) ill informed nonsense on the subject.
I couldn't care less if they stay or go
BUT
As it affects us all then we should all (as in UK citizens) have had a vote
The Yes side has a pretty xenophobic tinge to it IMO
If I was a Scot (though my dad is full on Glaswegian) I'd probably vote Yes to have as little to do with the Tory toffs as possible
I find Salmond and Sturgeon utterly repulsive
Why is the yes campaign led by a couple of fish...? 😕
No 51.5%
edit- well I bloody hope so at least 😉
No 52%
Not even the majority of Scots are daft enough to swallow Salmond's BS whole, though no doubt the agitators will have their shoulder chips enlarged almost exponentially. Nothing good was ever born out of nationalism.
58% N0
I reckon a bigger no vote than predicted and that will be that. not that i have a vote but i don't think the opinion polls are that accurate for this particular issue and that there are more "no" voters that have said yes when asked as they may want to be seen to be pro independence and i don't think it works the other way round. people generally like stability and being able to plan a bit ahead and will tolerate a lot of crap because its the crap they are used to....
