Dunno what it's called, but back when I had unlimited data on O2 I used to play around with several radio apps on the phone, and one that was interesting was on the Faro Islands, very folky stuff, and CBC Radio 2, (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation); lots of Canuk indy stuff that generally doesn't get heard outside of Canada.

How about live US Police radio Broadcasts from your chosen city, coupled with ambient music?

found this site a couple of weeks ago and have been ignoring my own music collection since. 'tis ace.

haven't listened to this for a while but used to be a great mix of electronica/post-punk and such - there was a canadian lad on sunday nights who had a vast collection of brilliant stuff i'd never heard of before or since.

#edit, links to the Japanese stations please? I'm interested..
