At Aldi. Those that don't know what I'm on about or are too snobby to shop alongside the kind of people that go there move along, there's nothing to see. For the rest of us, more biking will be required to burn it off!

Been in my local store in huge quantities (also Lebkuchen, Zimtsterne, etc.) for about 2-3 weeks.
Currently it's stacked up on all the special promo displays.

The trouble with Stollen is the terrible weight penalty to lugg any around. You might as well be carrying a lead ingot.

Tasty though

Aldi Stollen is the shiznit as it has the goo, well marzipan, inside. I would go buy some now but the chances of it seeing the end of the week, let alone xmas, are too remote.

*goes back on diet*

Dunno about Aldi, but the store I go to (Tegut) also sells mini packs of Stollen pre-sliced, and about the same size as a folded up spare inner tube. So perfect fodder to fit in the backpack, and hopefully won't get too squished.

Lidl does it as well and it's very nice. They also do bags of mini stollen, perfect bite sized nomming.
