I've been looking at a new wheel set and these are up on wiggle for £250

Someone will probably be along to tell me I've paid too much, but seemed like a good price to me!

It's 'cause they're for an obsolete rim size 😉

Looks like a good price to me.

I have access to a trade account for hope, and that not much more at all than I pay. Bargain.

I thought that about the obsolete wheel size, might be the time to start getting some good gear for reasonable money !

Weight limit for crests is 190 lbs and I'm 230 lbs would this end in tears?

ummed and arred a little but reading the Stans website it seems they should be ok for the type riding I do, ...

Yes I am a porker , but mainly I'm slow, unfit and only getting back into riding after far too long off the bike so it's mainly Sustrans routes and fire trails for now...

Whats the worst that can happen ( rhetorical question answers not required )

That weight limit is for their wheels, not rims.

I'm on 26" crests at about 220 on the Soul and they've held up fine, been off the ground plenty too

Or for more choice. Order separately

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/hope-hoops-pro2-evo-mtb-rear-wheel/
and
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/hope-hoops-pro2-evo-mtb-front-wheel/

Order each seperately, deregistering and registering for the wiggle email each time (=2x £5 off).

Also using quidco, another 3% off.

I bought a pair of Flow EX's on 26" rims for just over £246, Bargain!!!

Thanks for the PSA 🙂 I've ordered a pair with Crests.

Are the NoTubes rims coming pre-taped?

Edit: This PSA was great BTW, with the Wiggle £5 off + 3% QuidCo they're actually cheaper than the set of Pro2s with 717s I got over 3 years ago!

Hope Hoops do come pre-taped, but not with tubeless ready tape.

Does anyone know if the Arch Hope Hoops are actually supplied with Arch EX rims? I thought the non-EX Arch was discontinued.

They are indeed Arch EX rims - well the chat I emailed confirmed that the 29ers were.

He did say that their website was going to be updated to reflect this.

Think I might be buying some new wheels 🙂

I ordered a pair of crest and got sent a front crest and flow ex rear.

As I complained about not receiving a matching pair which they couldn't rectify before I needed the wheels for a trip away they compensated me with a £50 voucher. In fairness being its for FS bike and I'm pushing 14 stone its probably not a bad thing having a tougher back wheel.

So effectively £187.50 for a set of hope hoops after £5 off, £7.50 quidco and £50 voucher. Happy days!

cheers all I just ordered my flows. The 10 extra code doesn't work but the newsletter 5er off does.

268 GBP delivered to Spain - can't wait for some clickety click wheels.

Top deal, well spotted

After a huge amount of ummming and arghing I went with a pair of 29er Arch EX's

Probably could have gotten away with the Crests but the Arch EX was too much of a lure.

@ £245.80 I can't really grumble.

The 10-extra discount does make the in stock wheels super value for money 8)

Wonder if they will apply the discount retrospectively?
