PSA for anyone after a new lid, singletrack mag have a group test winner- its the giro feature. I had one when I crashed, so wanted to replace it with the same- most shops are doing it for around £50, ordered mine tonigt for £35 delivered - mtb direct (based in staylebridge I think).

I paid £60 for my first one- wore it once and crashed in it - write off!

You do know that Giro do a crash replacement scheme?

You do know that Giro do a crash replacement scheme?

its £35 for the replacment direct from Giro, + you have the cost of posting the old lid back to 'em

saves another fiver maybe.

i got one from them last year. great helmet, at an even better price! i'm thinking i might get another now, the 2013 colours look ace (especially the green one)...
