I have the 661 reckon and I did have the 2010 Xen and I would say they are pretty much identical in shape, fit and padding 🙂 The only issue is when its really hot the pads soak up sweat – but its a trade off as its a very comfy helmet 🙂

Bargain pricing and the Recon is a decent helmet. It’s not quite as comfy as the Giro helmets though (IMHO – I couldn’t get one to fit. I have got an odd shaped head though 😳 )

Yeah – sorry I should have said “for people who have a normal sized head” 😉

How do the KS knee pads size up?

Dammit – I’d definitely have had a helmet if I wasn’t saving money for a Lakes trip at the end of the month. Would be tempted to replace my battered Straits too.

I need medium Straits… They’re the kind of thing you really need to try though. I have no idea what size my legs are.
