Please can someone reccomend me 29er tyres for road and off road use? Thanks

forest tracks and Singletrack think Thetford summer use. I’ve got some proper tyres for mountain pass use but they’re so hard on road to use for the commute.

I’ve just switched to 2.2 Conti Race Kings on my Karate Monkey which I’m using for my commute (potholed Devon lanes) and offroad.

They roll really well on the road despite their size. They’re obviously going to be pants in the mud but in the dry they’re fine.

I have some Maxis Ardents… Use them to commute by road and ride around the mud at Haldon…

Can you get Panaracer Fire XC in 29er version?
They roll quite well on the road, & grip pretty well at Thetford. I used them for ages there.

Specialized Crossroads?
Specialized Fastrak? I’ve got them on my Inbred at the moment & they are OK.
