"It's 106 bits to fit, we got a full fridge of beer, half a pack of biscuits, it's getting dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit it. !

Most of the rest of the stuff turned up. I shall go and get started then. Won't be finished tonight as I'm knackered and I'm not rushing it. Let's see how far we can get tho.

Indeed. More pics in a minute but I've come up against my first problem. I have a set of RF Respond Cranks and (for reasons far too complex to explain) RF DH RACE BB. It seems the two don't play at all. Crank axle cannot clear the BB shell. Stuck it in an old Hope and it's fine. Took NDS BB cup out and it's definitely not an interface fit.

I put the hammer down ๐Ÿ˜‰

Fixed BB. Quick chat with someone who knows. Hit it harder he said. So I did. And now it's installed.

Oh and

1. Logos/wheels. Forgot
2. Wheel on wrong way round

Walk Mutt then back to attempt magical things with mechs. 23.2 lbs currently so not bad as frame is a bit of a beast even in that small size. Anyone know how Manitou shocks work? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Right that's me done for tonight. Front mech might foul chainstay bridge (remember having this problem on my old 5 Spot) which could force me to use an e-type. Rear brake hose needs shortening but that's okay as I have to whip caliper off to get it through the cable guides.

New carbon post and (pink Natch) SDG women's saddle to come. Dodgy eBay scales say 26lbs so pretty happy with that.

Still have pink gear cables to fit. Needs more pink apparently (so says 12 year old bike designer ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

I feel those tyres might me a step too far. I daren't show them to Jessie tho as she's sure to think otherwise.

She has zero standover currently but she's growing pretty fast and with a bit of suspension sag, I think we're good for a maiden voyage next weekend. Sadly tomorrow I'm working ๐Ÿ™

Looking very nice.

Needs these, although they only come in pink rather than PINK, which might not be a perfect match.

Front mech might foul chainstay bridge

Had to take a hacksaw to my mech when building a Flux. Felt a bit of a huge design oversight, but did the trick. Turner even supplied instructions on how to effect said fudge ๐Ÿ™„

Crikey, that's a bit poor. Those brakes are lovely but I feel the build has already gone a tad over budget ๐Ÿ˜‰

You're building that for a 12 year old girl? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

On second thought, that's a really good idea! Any boys that will want to date her will have to catch her first! ๐Ÿ˜‰
