    Taka,

If you're just getting interested in photography then have a look at this website:

    http://www.morguefile.com/docs/Classroom

on this page, down the right hand side, are lessons that can teach you the so called 'basic rules' of photography.

It's a good place to read up on stuff. You've got plenty of subject material there for some really interesting photos

Not much of quality in the last month, but I'm proud of my old bike (here looking over southern Edinburgh to the Pentlands, from Arthurs Seat road) -

    (photopage)

Taken with my new-ish phone, which, I'm finding, takes cr@p photos; my old one with 2MP less took much better outdoor shots.

Here's one of mine I've been using a Voigtlander Bessa R with a russian Jupiter 8 lens for the past month with some Potra 160VC, here's a picture of my Springer Spaniel Louis that I took with it that I thinks a great picture.

Cheers Stu. It's a bit naff as forgot to check the ISO from when I had the camera at wedding a few weeks earlier and t was too high for outdoors. Still came out not too bad.

Stuartie_c. Is the pic of a camera a GRD iii? If so how do you find it? I'm keen on getting one but am still at the research stage

    Posted 1 year ago #
  31. stuartie_c - Member

theflatboy - not Berlin. I'm not that cosmopolitan. It's Edinburgh.

    richcc - not GRD3. It's a GX100

Plant, can you explain your first pic please? I've looked at it for a long time but can't work out what it is. I really like it though.

Not taken much myself over the last month but here's a couple of ones that I quite liked:

    Golspie, Scotland...

    Hondarribia, Spain...

looks like water droplets (or possibly oil droplets??) captured as they fall and 'splash' into a glass/container. Nicely done

cheers man! I don't think it's that great but I love it because it's self filmed and I know how many times I had to go back up and do it before I eventually timed it right and got me in the frame!
