oh, I allways thought you got charged for sending it as a gift?

Reason being, youre paying the paypal fees but who your buying from isnt

If you have money in your account, or money pending it doesn’t appear to charge, so I tend to stick £0.01 in every time I use it so iv always got money in/ pending. Though saying that, I never seem to get charged for using PayPal, what am I doing differently…? This is even when paying via goods…

I always send the money direct from bank account as “personal payment owed” and it is always free.

from PP balance or bank transfer = no fee
    from credit card = fee

which seems fair enough by paypal (did I really just say that??)

    This.

They even have the above information on the Gift screen when making a payment.

I can’t believe how many people don’t understand things that they use regularly.
