Just seen this and thought I’d share!

Some guy just got his bike absolutely trashed by them!
    Make sure you get insurance.

BE WARNED – DO NOT use a company called Paisley Freight or TNT to transport bikes.
If you sell a bike and need to post it use an alternative.

Just had my Ridley X-Fire returned to me as they described it as ‘damaged in transit’

    Snapped handlebars
    Smashed front left shifter
    Bent seat rails
    Snapped seat post
    Cracked chain stays
    Broken derailleur hanger

Bear in ind this was professionally boxed up.

Use someone else, just flagging it in case anyone else is looking to send a bike by post.

2nd warning this week. Stood up for them last time but beginning to wonder…

I don’t know why anyone would send a bike without insurance.

Parcel Pete works out about £13 with insurance for a bike. Plus it is next day.

It looks like someone tried to use it as an Accordion!

Insurance or not surely they (Paisley Freight or whatever they are called) can’t seriously expect to walk away from some kind of responsibility for that… 😯

They are cheap as chips but the second you add insurance the price skyrockets

I’ve used them three times recently with no issues , their insurance is pretty high though.

I’ve used them…. nearly posted a “DO NOT USE” thread here myself. Booked a bike for collection, they didn’t collect it for 4 days! 4 consecutive days they failed to collect it and they didn’t give a hoot when I called to complain. Just said “well you can have your money back and we’ll cancel the service”

    HORRID HORRID HORRID 🙁

ooh, and bikes are not insured against damage, only total loss, whatever that means. The trouble is, I’ve never found a suitable/equivalent service from another courier.
