Is it not just an old 29er with wide wheels?

won't those heavy tyre's make an already quite nooderly back end even more of a noodle!?

Dunno, never noticed it being noodly? If anything it was among the stiffer bikes I've ridden.

Hopefully they'll come in some decent sizes for people over 5ft10, I tried all the 5's upto an XL, which felt right handling wise, but the frame was enormous!

No, pretty sure they haven't done a 29er with the straight top tube and seat tube brace.

Odd that it's not branded as "Strange" like every other Orange prototype I can remember seeing

Is it me or is that BB sky high?

I'm going with it being a normal Five with plus tyres squeezed in.

Maybe the new owner things branding stuff Strange is a missed advertising opportunity.

Think cha****ng might be onto something, BB height does look off

I think Stranges were probably good for marketing as they got people asking questions when there was no doubting that it was something new

Loads of clearance to get a big tyre in there... So why not?

XL frame might have a brace where others don't

No orange 29 has had the current frame design so unless the wheels are squeezed in to a 650b 5 it's new.

Five29/ Segment Swingarm on a Five Front end.

Maybe modded as i'm pretty sure 650+ doesn't quite go in a Segment.

I doubt it's the old Five 29 swingarm, it didn't have a lot of tyre clearance. I like it, anyway. BB does look kind of sky high, maybe it's just the angle though

Bugger all space between the tyre and the fork brace...
Just looks like a five with zelvy carbon rims and nobby nic tyres to me..

Sounds like a good idea though. Five plus. I'd like one.
