I doubt that the prosecution has got this far without a reasonable amount of evidence. And not wanting something to be true doesn't actually make it so.
(Edit) - just realised how snotty that sounds, but I have serious doubts that he can now have a fair trial, and would have to concur that due to the press releases, etc, the evidence against him has to be pretty damning.

As a drunken twentysomething in the 90s I met the guy and saw him in concert half-a-dozen times (with some sense of ironing, he aded hastily). That said, his live-act was genuinely entertaining - you haven't lived till you've heard him [s]play[/s] murder [i]Stairway To Heaven[/i] live on the wobbleboard.
He even drew me a Rolfaroo.
No more heroes anymore.
Regardless of his guilt it's another piece of my childhood tainted by grubbiness.

I always liked Rolf.
I was well chuffed when I went to his house back in 2003 for a wedding reception. His adopted daughter Seiwa (sp?) married a mate of mine. Chatted to him and had the obligatory arm-round photograph.

Same here. I was in Rolf's Cartoon Club, I had a badge and everything. 🙁 I used to try and make cartoons in Deluxe Paint III on my Amiga, but I'd always run out of memory because I was trying to do 24 frames per second, because Rolf had done a feature on the making of The Little Mermaid, and said how Disney's animators were working at 24fps.

As despicable as these allegations are, why do the courts allow the publication of identities before any trail? Should he be found innocent, he will always have this hanging over him. On the other hand if he's proven guilty, hang the b*stard.
It's purely up to the good people of Singletracktowers, of course, but does anyone else think there should be a moratorium on "celebrity paedophile allegations" threads? I say that only because they never produce anything good, often upset people, and frequently contain borderline defamatory stuff which would make even a publishing megacorp nervous.
