Need some help trying to get something for my dad’s birthday.

He has a 20″ raleigh shopper that he’s been meaning to fix up and, well, use to get to the shops since he rescued it from a tip.

Main problem at the moment is that he needs a front wheel for it, and it’s 90mm spacing. Any suggestions either for a hub or full wheel from anywhere? I’m sure he’d appreciate it for his birthday (obviously if this is gonna cost more than just buying another bike…)

Or am I just not going to find this anywhere? If so any other suggestions for his birthday? He likes weird bikes…

How about a modern Penny Farthing? Quite fancy one myself 🙂

Possible that it was 100mm before it landed at the tip. Might just need pulling back out to 100mm (4 inches).

What size wheel? 20×1.75″? 500A? 20×13/8″

Let me know, we have a few NOS wheels kicking around as our shop is older than time itself 🙂
