I own a pair, they are a bit fragile I'm afraid, bust one already (drive side) got a replacement but lost faith in them and religated them to the road bike (yes I know ๐Ÿ™„ ). I have a pair of the XT trail pedals, they are lasting much better.

I think you may have made a mistake here.
-Ask about product first, then buy product.
Easy mistake to make though......

They're nice, right up until they fall off their axles - at which point they're replaced under warrantee and go all nice again. Unless you were miles from anywhere when it happened, in which case you sell them and move on.

Luckily I was just round the corner from home.

I also had the axle shedding problem but Madison refused warranty for as yet unexplained reasons. The case continues...

I trashed a pair a week in to a 4 month long trip. My last xtr pedals were 4 years old, this new version is just shocking.ine went in the bin and I won't be buying them again

Great when they work now on third set .
First pair seals failed on each
Second pair axle sheared ๐Ÿ˜•

Sure we're not talking about Eggbeaters?

I got the cage less version and trashed one in the middle of nowhere.
Rode 15+ miles on the spindle to get back to the car

Seals failed, knackered the bearings which bust the pedal body
Want to send these back not happy! Anyone got an address?
