As I came into a little bit of cash I decided that I'd build me a new bike, I'd been 29'er curious for a while and I wanted one that could replace my Cove Handjob and Genesis iO, in other words a bike that could be ran geared or SS.
So I got me a Chumba HX2 from Si at Progressive Bikes, great guy to deal with BTW.
I've built it up with a mixture of parts from the Cove, stuff off eBay & classifieds and some new bits.
It's a Medium frame, I'm just under 5'11" (if that matters) It's built up with:
100mm Rockshox Reba RL's with poplock
Crests on Hope Pro Evo hubs with Specalized S-Work 2.1" Ground Control tyres.
Thomson Elite in-line post & Thomson X4 90mm stem with Easton EA70 flat bars (685mm) & Charge Spoon
2x9 with XT shifters & mechs, RF Evolve XC cranks 22/32 with 11-32 out back.
Avid Elixir 5 brakes - 185mm front/160mm rear.
Weighs in at 26lbs on the nose, which I'm pretty happy with to be fair. The brake hoses need shortening a touch.
Haven't ridden it yet, but I'll be out on it next weekend for sure.
Looks nice, i think the ano silver is my fav finish.
very nice indeed.

I'm sure I will, just got to ride the thing now.
