mastiles_fanylion - MemberShine on you Crazy Diamond but for all the wrong reasons RIP dad
so that's not a no then?
Ahh I see - I missed that connection. Doh.
I meant because my dad asked for it to be played at his funeral so every time I hear it now it reminds me of him and the day
It sounds like he had good taste,
I think my Dad want's Take That
My dad wants Nazareth "Expect No Mercy". (I hope)

Burial
+1 especially "Etched Headplate"
(Status Quo, Chris Rea etc).
No offence to your old man but
Never mind, I'm blessed with an inherited liking for Glen Campbell. Thankfully, Max Boyce went straight over my head.
The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die Tour. Live version of Invaders Must Die with a 2-3 minute build up in total darkness before Liam dropped the beat and all hell broke loose. Puts a massive smile on my face thinking about it.
Johnny Cash - Hurt
Heard it again yesterday on Radio 4, certainly makes me well up inside.

My Dad and I often borrow CDs of each other! He's really into Dubstep, Dub and all sorts. Of around 400 CDs, two are classical, the rest are rock/dance/pop/whatever.
He still plays bass in a band (ex pro session bass player) which does stuff like Groove Armada's "Super Stylin" and similar.
Most odd.
Freddie Freeloader- Miles Davis
And my mam likes Iron Maiden. Although that probably stems from having to listen to me play Number of the Beast again and again and again as a teenager.
