The Agenda

1) Meet at the pub – 8:15 Church Inn.
2) Go for a bike ride, I’ll try and come up with a route that avoids the really swampy bits.
3) Have a pint or two and talk rubbish.

If anyone has any suggested venues for future rides please speak up.

I'm in too. I'll probably risk damaging my finely tuned athletic physique with a pint or two....

And a packet of dry roasted.

And half a loafs worth of cheese on toast when I get in.

Craig's had his bike half inched but I'll send him a text to see if he wants to borrow my other bike...

Craigs had his bike nicked? You're joking? Little ****ers!!!

Going to see if my shoulder is up to riding, with a local pootle tomorrow. If so then I'll be there. If not, I might pop down anyway for a pint, 7 tequila's, a few flaming sambucca's then projectile vomit on Terrahawk

looks like we're due a few dry weather days. Just for the novelty value

Hurrah! Will be there if we have a working vehicle.

Everyone has a dodgy knee/sore throat/broken fingernail every time we mention Todmorden 🙁

Todmorden broke my bike*

* Disclaimer: this might actually have been due to my own clumsy ineptitude

It was a really nice walk back to the car though

[img] [/img]

Note the absence of a chain, and the jaunty angle of the rear mech

Maybe 2 or 3 vehicles depending, as it's a narrow dead-end road innit?

Two or three vehicles?

Road is wide but only a couple of hundred yards long.

I want more details after Clover's throwaway comment about working in Sierra Leone.

I worked in Hull for a year once and I thought that was pretty extreme.

The erosion caused by the Monday Night Pub Ride is redistributing the height above sea level around the North West. Pretty soon you will have to weigh yourself in and out with any difference being mechanically reclaimed. Remember to get a receipt for your beer and crisps and if you go to the loo.

Tangly... got a link for that light of yours?

All mine is still on the garage floor until the wife goes to work tomorrow. I'm going to jetwash it all first though like Peaty in Seasons. 🙂

You looked immaculate when you came back for that fork. We all still looked like we'd been in a niche Japanese porn film*.

*Apart from Tony Teflon with his magic rear mud guard.
