As it's been absolutely bucketing down for about 4 days solid now, so everything is going to be underwater, I'm thinking of saying sod it, let's just do an out-and-out dossing around on Holcombe Hill route, getting absolutely caked in filth. Don't say I don't warn you! ๐Ÿ˜€

Righty ho chaps and chapesses, I'm making an executive decision and abandoning this one tomorrow. Can you pass that on to anyone who's on about coming. I'll put an email out as well

Its the fourth day of solid heavy rain now, with no signs of it stopping. I've just been up to the Shoulder and half the trails are presently spread over the top road, and there are literally rivers flowing down off the moors. i think it'd be madness to ride the up there in these conditions. I was up there last weekend before this deluge started and it was an absolute quagmire already

Moorbottom road was alright (considering) rode up cobbles, along mbr, down through Buckden, along route66 to Irwell and back up robin hoods, back along mbr to tower, cut the corner, rocky, then back down cobbles (consciously avoiding Redisher) very wet obvs but mostly armoured surfaces so not to bad mud wise

edit, actually maybe dont 'cut the corner...' ๐Ÿ˜‰
