Could well do it as a t-shirt if there's enough interest. Not done one for a while.

It's not as good as Bregantes design obviously, but it'll have to do 😀

Great t-shirt idea, I'd wear it. Maybe with a picture of my bike below it too.

I think they are J18 - J20, so it won't trouble you.

I could be wrong though. I'll see if there are any signs up on the way home and will report back.

There were no night closure signs on the motorway between 20 and 18.

I think it's going to be a tad... erm... 'blowy' up there tonight.

So that's why they put all those turbines up there?

^Sweet Jebsus!

Good ride folks. Shame my bike fell to bits, but hey-ho.

I'm grounded now for a couple of weeks to avoid my customary pre holiday broken bone / infected cuts / giant hogweed burns.

...and the Rostron Arms can go and **** itself with the charging to park your car stunt. Any other pubs that way that want to retain customers? I saw that the Eagle and Child was open.

There is a small carpark down by the side of the butchers at the community centre; so right behind the chippy.

It's rough and ready, but at least it's free.

What stunt did the Rostrons try to pull then? The E&C is indeed open, has loads of parking, and Glen has been happy to have us muddy lot in there in the past. It's a great boozer

The Coach and Horses (our original edenfield venue) is open again after its refurb. So it looks like the Rostrons can indeed go and * itself

In other news, and to add to the list of people who can go * themselves when it comes to any further business.... my night went from bad to worse. Our planned honeymoon has just effectively been cancelled as Thomas *ing Cook have changed our flights to the day before we get married (handy... thanks for that!) they've offered us a full refund. So we now have to sort something else out. Considering this has been booked for 6months, I'd advise never ever booking a holiday with Thomas *ing Cook!!

I'll also be dipping out of riding for the next few weeks to avoid the inevitable wedding pictures, given my track record, with me looking like this....

The duckworth arms is a good nearby pub, nice beer and bike friendly with the occasion bowl of free chips, the rostron is a toilet at the best of times

Rostron Arms is a sh*thole anyway. Are there any decent pubs in waterfoot/rawtenstall? Wouldn't take much to alter the route to accommodate either of those.

Any plans for next week? If it stays dry I've got an idea for a new route from the white house. Or maybe Tod/Hebden?

I don't care where we go, but can we turn the pace down a bit?

I've just had to have a lunchtime nap 😀
