[Closed] Middleburn RS8 X-Type - Alternatives?

I managed to destroy an old Deore crank yesterday whilst SS'ing around Cannock Chase. It was only a temporary measure on my first foray into singlespeed but now I'm forced to get something more permanent.

I'm looking at the Middleburn Uno but I'm not sure I really want to handover £190 at the moment.

So, are there any slightly cheaper alternatives or is it really worth shelling out?

I've ran middleburn cranks on all my mtb's since 1994, never had any issues with the three sets i own.

Here's an x-type on my latest bike build, i apologise for the bling gold ring.....it will be replaced with a black or silver ring soon, personally i wouldn't consider fitting anything else other than middleburn.
